I found a stone just like that except it fits in the palm your hand and I think it’s for starting fires you have to use the ball in the stack. I’ve had it for about 25 or 30 years now in the river.

The "brass knuckles" have a bump on one side. That's a belt buckle. The little bump goes through the hole in the leather. I bought one for $3 at the swap meet when I was 17. I'm 36 and still toss it in my pocket depending on which area of town I'm headed to.

It makes me sad to see our forests being destroyed.
